CEC POST-SURGICAL PATIENT APPOINTMENT POLICY & COSTS - EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025
The following changes are designed to better align our services with our patient’s needs while continuing to ensure the highest level of care to all CEC post-surgical patients. Please take note of the following information:
Post-Surgical Follow-Up Visits:
Post-surgical patients will have access to one additional follow-up visit within the calendar year after their surgery, not including any appointments within their three-month post-operative period. You may choose from the following options, which are available to you at a reduced cost as a CEC post-surgical patient:
In-office Pelvic Exam & Consultation with Dr Sinervo or Dr Eugenio: $500, will include MRI review and/or Transvaginal Ultrasound; any additional labwork or testing will result in additional costs.
6-12 Month Post Op In-office Consultation with Dr Sinervo or Dr Eugenio: $250, any subsequent labwork and/or testing that may be ordered will result in additional costs.
Telehealth Consultation with Dr Sinervo or Dr Eugenio: $150, any subsequent labwork and/or testing that may be ordered will result in additional costs.
Telehealth with Victoria Novak, PA-C: $100, any subsequent labwork and/or testing that may be ordered will result in additional costs.
Please note, we remain an insurance-friendly, Out of Network provider and as such, your appointment may not be covered by your insurance. We recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm your coverage. Patients are responsible for all costs associated with appointments, which will be payable upfront. Please call our office to book an appointment and discuss the costs accordingly. Again, the above refers to appointments outside your three-month post-operative phase.
Discontinuation of Routine Yearly Check-Ups/Non-Surgical Appointments:
Our practice has always been dedicated exclusively to surgical care. From time to time, however, we have provided courtesy appointments for some CEC patients long after their surgeries were performed for non-surgical reasons such as routine yearly check-ups and ongoing care unrelated to their surgery with us, e.g., mammograms, general ObGyn exams/tests/orders, etc. These will no longer be provided. You must maintain your relationship with and consult your primary care physician, local ObGyn, and/or or other specialists for ongoing general healthcare needs such as these. If you do not have a provider, we are unable to recommend any specific physicians but encourage you to utilize your local hospital’s “find a doctor” tool on their website, visit peer referral groups, check with your insurance company, and/or visit a trusted referral site such as RateMDs.
We understand these updates may require adjustments in your healthcare planning, and we are here to assist you in navigating this transition.
