The CEC is always accepting patients, whether you are new to endometriosis and our Center, or are a returning patient of ours. Individuals come to us from around the world with all forms of the disease, and new/prospective patients have a few options to think about: a free case review with either of our partner surgeons for those who wish to explore possible surgery here at the CEC; a telehealth appointment with Dr Eugenio; or an in-person (traditional) appointment with either Dr Sinervo or Dr Eugenio. We also encourage visitors to access our vast educational articles and check out all the resources on our site to help inform their decision-making and understanding of the disease.
Through state-of-the-art imaging, surgical expertise, multidisciplinary care, and compassionate, patient-centered approach, the CEC team addresses not only the physical aspects of endometriosis and related gynepathologies, but recognizes the interconnectedness of the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the whole person. Dr Sinervo and Dr. Eugenio are not only technically proficient, but deeply empathetic. Both our surgeons specialize in all forms of endometriosis, including and especially thoracic, bowel, and deep/complex disease. Additionally, as advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgeons, they are prepared to treat adenomyosis, ovarian remnant syndrome, fibroids, adhesions, and various other surgical gynepathologies. About Laparoscopic Excision (LAPEX)
Excision of endometriosis - LAPEX - allows for lesions to be cut out from affected areas without damaging surrounding structures or removing otherwise healthy tissue or organs. We specialize in the excisional technique, approaching all endometriosis with the goal of safely removing and resecting the disease from wherever it appears. LAPEX is often the first step towards multidisciplinary treatment of endometriosis.

I am so so glad I found Dr. Sinervo. The free case review was phenomenal. I sent in everything and I think I heard back just a few weeks later. Dr. Sinervo was very clear and confident on our phone call and his scheduling staff did a wonderful job of communicating with me and getting me scheduled for surgery. They sent clear information beforehand, and I felt prepared and very confident going into the surgery.
After surgery, I woke up in zero pain. Granted, the Northside Hospital team do a great job helping with that, but compared to my previous surgery with another doctor, this was night and day. I was completely and totally pain free and off all pain meds a week after surgery. I attribute this to Dr. Sinervo's skill, the application of local anesthesia, and PRP. He really thought of everything to reduce pain and speed up healing.
All I can say is that if you are on the fence, either due to fear of surgery, or due to the cost, it is worth every penny and then some and you will be very well cared for. -

There really aren’t any words to adequately describe how grateful I am for Dr Sinervo. I went in for surgery with Stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis. It had adhered to and affected every organ in my abdominal cavity. I woke up from surgery and noticed, immediately, that I now only had surgical pain.
