Chronic pelvic pain, defined as pain for six months or more, affects 10‐20% of women at some point in their lives. Endometriosis is recognized as one of the most common causes and is seen in up to 70% of women with chronic pelvic pain. However, many symptoms which affect bladder function and bowel function may not be from the endometriosis itself.
